Data controller

Laurent Karila (Karila, Société d'avocats), responsible for the MasterConstruction learning platform.

Data collected

First and last name, email address, and learning data: course progress, quiz answers and scores, time spent on exercises, the paper submitted for the final examination and its assessment (mark, feedback), and the certificate issued. No other data is collected.

Certificate and public verification

The certificate carries a unique code. The associated verification page displays only: name, subject, date of issue and examination result. It is accessible only to whoever holds the code — which only the holder chooses to share (LinkedIn, CV). No public list of certificates exists.

Purpose

Strictly educational: to let each learner resume their progress, and the controller to monitor learners' progress and difficulties in order to improve the content. Data is not passed to third parties for commercial purposes.

Hosting

Data is hosted by Supabase and the application by Vercel.

WhatsApp discussion group

A peer-support group between students may be offered via an invitation link shown only to logged-in registered users. Membership is free, optional and reversible; it does not condition access to the courses, validation or the certificate. The platform neither collects nor transmits any phone number: by joining the group, your number becomes visible to its members and your data is processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.

Retention period

Accounts and all associated data are deleted at the learner's request or after a prolonged period of inactivity.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data. To exercise it, write to contact@masterconstruction.online.

Use of the platform is optional and does not condition any assessment.
