Audience and prerequisites
Lawyers and associates, in-house counsel, claims and legal teams (insurers, builders), developers, brokers, building owners and design professionals, law students. Base and Intermediate tracks: no prerequisite other than professional practice of, or interest in, construction law. Advanced and Expert tracks: command of the previous levels or established practice. The Self-assessment module (in French) recommends the right track for each learner (entry positioning).
The training actions
01 Builders' liability
Objectives: Characterise a defect and connect it to the right regime (one-year making-good warranty, two-year warranty, ten-year liability, ordinary contract law, tort); identify who owes the statutory warranties; secure acceptance of the works and its reservations; run the full reasoning of a case (time limits, grounds, recourse claims).
Estimated track duration: Base 11 h 45 · Intermediate 12 h 45 · Advanced 18 h 30 · Expert 20 h 15
02 Construction insurance
Objectives: Master the Spinetta system (two-stage mechanism); run a DO insurance claim and its deadlines; trigger compulsory decennal liability cover (RCD); handle the direct action and subrogation; secure the time limits (two-year insurance limitation, ten-year time bar).
Estimated track duration: Base 12 h · Intermediate 13 h 15 · Advanced 19 h · Expert 21 h
03 Works contracts and subcontracting
Objectives: Choose and secure the contractual arrangement; form the contract (documents, payment guarantees); master the price (lump sum, additional works, final accounts); apply the Act of 1975 on subcontracting; manage the end of the contract and its disputes.
Estimated track duration: Base 11 h 15 · Intermediate 12 h 30 · Advanced 18 h 15 · Expert 19 h 45
Estimation method: durations are computed from the actual content of each course (reading volume, flashcards, quiz questions, case-study steps), weighted by track — the final examination (≈ 4 h) is included at Advanced and Expert levels. Each trainee's actual connection times are logged and reported in the completion certificate.
Each action comes in four tracks (Base, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert). The detailed programme of the 27 courses is available on the Campus (in French — the courses themselves are taught in French).

Disability contact: Laurent Karila — contact@masterconstruction.online. Get in touch upon registration: the asynchronous format allows many adaptations (no time constraints, extended time for assessments, course podcasts, screen-reader-friendly outlines). If an adaptation cannot be made in-house, learners are directed to the specialised resources (Agefiph, Ressource Handicap Formation).
